I personally believe copywriters should write fiction too because it is such great practice for writing good sales copy! Actually, writing fiction is great practice for any type of nonfiction writing, right? It’s all about learning how to be a good storyteller.

How much it reminds me of poetry or at least creative writing. This description: “There is on your teeth a viscous film. You can feel it with your tongue. It clings to teeth, enters crevices and stays. …” I could imagine myself turning that into a poem…or a creepy short story. I will keep that in mind when I think I can’t write sales copy 😉
