These are good! Here's another that I like for longer pieces. I've used it for some of my best longer posts.
I. History--Does my subject have a significant past?
II. Scope--Width, depth, and homogeneity or lack of homogeneity of whatever is going on?
III. Why? Why is this happening? Why now? (or when it did happen)
IV. Reach-- Who or what is affected
V. Reactions--What is being done in response?
VI. Future-- If this continues, what could happen.
I begin by throwing notes into these bins. The final post may not have all the parts and I reorder if some narrative line begins to develop. I've found this works well when I have a mess of unordered thoughts on a subject, but I can't get a coherent piece to fall together. The method is based on William E. Blundell's book, The Art and Craft of Feature Writing. This post was built from it: https://vinemaple.net/studio/chip-shortage/
