Are you an experienced writer looking for ways to work more efficiently?
A beginning writer looking to hone your skills?
A struggling writer trying to share your work with a wider audience?
No matter where you are on your writing journey, this blog is for you.
It’s for the days when you grow discouraged, when you still need a word of encouragement and motivation, when you are looking to learn from the writers who have gone before you.
Here on the blog, I’m on a quest to study the lives of famous writers to discover their secrets for success:
- How to become a skilled writer and inspire others with our words
- How to make more time for our creative passions
- How to supercharge productivity
- How to overcome self-doubt
- How to build an audience for our work
- And much more!
A little more about me…
Hi, I’m Nicole!
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The King’s College in New York City with a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PP&E). My degree was very writing intensive, and I loved it. Becoming a professional writer and publishing a novel has been my dream ever since I was very young.
This blog will follow my journey of finally realizing that childhood dream and what I learn along the way. As a Christian, I seek to follow in the tradition of artists like Johann Sebastian Bach, dedicating all my work Soli Deo gloria.
When I’m not writing, I love to read (both fiction and non-fiction), watch a good movie, play the piano, study foreign languages (currently I speak conversational Spanish and Italian and a smattering of French), exercise and lift weights (taking long walks is one of my favorite ways to boost my creativity!), and explore New York City. These hobbies might slip into a few blog posts from time to time.
I look forward to meeting many fellow writers through this blog, and I hope we can inspire and encourage each other.
If you’ve read this far, thank you! I truly appreciate each and every one of you who reads my articles and those who take the time to comment, subscribe, and follow me on social media.
